At VinItaly, we want every order to arrive correctly and in good condition. Because we sell alcoholic beverages, returns are limited.
Alcohol Product Return Policy
Due to the nature of alcoholic beverages, we do not accept returns or exchanges once an order has been delivered or picked up.
This includes wine, beer, aperitif, and any other alcoholic beverage products.
Damaged, Wrong, or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or missing an item, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos of the damaged or incorrect product
- Photos of the packaging, if applicable
After review, we may offer a replacement, store credit, refund, or another appropriate solution, depending on the situation and legal requirements.
Failed Age Verification
If the recipient cannot provide valid proof of being 21 years of age or older, the order may not be released.
In this case, the order may be canceled, and delivery fees, return fees, or restocking fees may be deducted where permitted.
Refused or Missed Delivery
If a delivery is refused, missed, or cannot be completed because no eligible adult is available to receive the order, additional delivery fees or cancellation fees may apply.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before processing or fulfillment begins.
Once an order has been processed, prepared, shipped, or sent out for delivery, cancellation may no longer be available.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Late or missing refunds

Sale items
Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and they will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
